ADRE 2.0: A New Dawn for Recruitment in Assam

The Chief Minister announced that the ADRE 2.0 will be held on September 15, 2024. This gives candidates ample time to prepare and gear up for the examination. Types of Exams

The ADRE 2.0 will encompass a range of exams catering to different levels of government jobs. These include:

1. Grade III and IV Positions: These exams will cover a wide array of non-technical and technical positions across various departments.
2. Junior Assistant and Stenographer Posts: These positions will have a specialized exam focusing on skills relevant to the roles.
3. Driver and Other Support Staff: Practical and written exams will be conducted for these positions to assess both skill and knowledge.

Process and Procedures

The process for ADRE 2.0 has been meticulously planned to ensure fairness and efficiency:

1. Online Application: The application process will be entirely online. Candidates can visit the official ADRE portal to fill out and submit their applications. The portal will be open for applications from July 15, 2024.
2. Admit Cards: Admit cards will be available for download from August 25, 2024. Candidates must carry a printed copy of their admit card along with a valid photo ID to the examination center.
3. Exam Centers: Examination centers will be spread across the state to ensure accessibility for candidates from all regions. The exact locations will be mentioned in the admit cards.
4. Exam Pattern: The exams will follow a multiple-choice question (MCQ) format, focusing on general knowledge, quantitative aptitude, reasoning, and specific technical skills relevant to the job profiles. Detailed syllabi for each exam category will be available on the ADRE portal.
5. Evaluation and Results: The evaluation process will be automated to minimize human error and bias. Results will be announced on October 30, 2024, through the official portal.
