The State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) is preparing to conduct written examinations for the Assam Direct Recruitment. This recruitment initiative by the Government of Assam aims to fill various Class-III and Class-IV vacancies, providing government job opportunities to over one lakh candidates in Assam. The online application process for the second phase of Assam Direct Recruitment was completed between 10th November and 29th December 2023. Candidates who have submitted their applications for ADRE must participate in the written examination. The admit cards for the ADRE Bachelor Degree and Driver Examination have been issued on 16th September 2024.

ADRE Syllabus for Class III Posts
State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) has released the official Assam Direct Recruitment syllabus for Class III or Grade III posts. Aspiring candidates may check following section for more details about syllabus.
Language of question paper: Question papers will be in the following languages – Assamese, Bengali, English, Bodo and Hindi.
Negative marking: There will be negative marking for wrong answers. The negative marking to be awarded for each wrong answer will be equivalent to 1/4th of the mark(s) allotted for that question. For example, negative marking for the wrong answer of a question carrying 1 mark will be 0.25 and similarly negative marking for the wrong answer of a question carrying 2 marks will be 0.50.
Selection Process: The candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for interview.
