The State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) is preparing to conduct written examinations for the Assam Direct Recruitment. This recruitment initiative by the Government of Assam aims to fill various Class-III and Class-IV vacancies, providing government job opportunities to over one lakh candidates in Assam. The online application process for the second phase of Assam Direct Recruitment was completed between 10th November and 29th December 2023. Candidates who have submitted their applications for ADRE must participate in the written examination. The admit cards for the ADRE HSSLC Level will be available on the official web portal from 2nd September 2024.The application process for the Assam Direct Recruitment (ADR) was facilitated by the State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) through an online portal. Eligible candidates had the convenience of submitting their applications directly through this portal from their preferred locations.

Selection Process of Assam Direct Recruitment
Candidates who have submitted their online applications for the Assam Direct Recruitment will participate in a two-phased selection process. In the first phase, candidates will appear in the written examination conducted at various examination centres across the state. Based on their performance in the written examination, shortlisted candidates will be called for the second phase. The second phase of ADRE consists of various tests according to the category of the posts. Typically, candidates will participate in the Viva-Voce, Interview, or Skill Test as part of the second phase of the selection process. This phase will be held in Guwahati for all candidates. After completing both phases, the SLRC will issue a merit list based on the candidates’ performance in both phases. Shortlisted candidates will be eligible for the job and will receive appointments in various government departments accordingly.
