Who Can Apply for an e-Shram Card?

- The worker must have a mobile number linked to their Aadhaar card.
How to Apply for an e-Shram Card Online
- Go to the e-Shram portal’s self-registration page.
- Enter your Aadhaar-linked mobile number, captcha code, and click ‘Send OTP.’
- Enter the OTP received on your mobile and click ‘Validate.’
- Confirm your personal details.
- Provide information like address, education, and work details.
- Enter bank details and select self-declaration.
- Click ‘Preview’ to review the details, then click ‘Submit.’
- Enter another OTP to verify and generate the e-Shram card.
- Download the e-Shram card by clicking on the download option.

How to Download Your e-Shram Card
- Visit the e-Shram portal.
- Click on the ‘Already Registered’ tab and select ‘Update/download UAN card.’
- Enter your date of birth, UAN number, and captcha code, then click ‘Generate OTP.’
- Enter the OTP received on your mobile and click ‘Validate.’
- Confirm the details and click ‘Preview’ to review them.
- Submit the OTP received on your mobile to complete verification.
- The e-Shram card will be shown on the screen, and you can download it.
How to Check Payment Status and Balance
- Go to the e-Shram portal.
- Click on the ‘E-Aadhaar Card Beneficiary Status Check’ link.
- Enter your e-Shram card number, UAN number, or Aadhaar Card.
- Click ‘Submit.’
