  • A pension of Rs. 3000 per month after turning 60 years old.
  • Death insurance of Rs. 2,00,000 and financial aid of Rs. 1,00,000 for partial disability.
  • If the cardholder dies, the benefits go to their spouse.
  • A 12-digit UAN number valid throughout India.

Who Can Apply for an e-Shram Card?

  • Any worker aged 16-59 years in the unorganized sector.
  • The worker must have a mobile number linked to their Aadhaar card.

How to Apply for an e-Shram Card Online

  1. Go to the e-Shram portal’s self-registration page.
  2. Enter your Aadhaar-linked mobile number, captcha code, and click ‘Send OTP.’
  3. Enter the OTP received on your mobile and click ‘Validate.’
  4. Confirm your personal details.
  5. Provide information like address, education, and work details.
  6. Enter bank details and select self-declaration.
  7. Click ‘Preview’ to review the details, then click ‘Submit.’
  8. Enter another OTP to verify and generate the e-Shram card.
  9. Download the e-Shram card by clicking on the download option.

How to Download Your e-Shram Card

  1. Visit the e-Shram portal.
  2. Click on the ‘Already Registered’ tab and select ‘Update/download UAN card.’
  3. Enter your date of birth, UAN number, and captcha code, then click ‘Generate OTP.’
  4. Enter the OTP received on your mobile and click ‘Validate.’
  5. Confirm the details and click ‘Preview’ to review them.
  6. Submit the OTP received on your mobile to complete verification.
  7. The e-Shram card will be shown on the screen, and you can download it.

How to Check Payment Status and Balance

  1. Go to the e-Shram portal.
  2. Click on the ‘E-Aadhaar Card Beneficiary Status Check’ link.
  3. Enter your e-Shram card number, UAN number, or Aadhaar Card.
  4. Click ‘Submit.’
  5. Check the payment status shown on the page.
