The Directorate of Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Classes, Assam has released the official notification of Assam SC Scholarship Scheme. Basically, these are centrally sponsored scheme of Pre-Matric and Post-Matric scholarships for the students of Assam belonging to Other Backward Classes (SC / MSC) for the academic year 2024-2025.

Eligibility Criteria of Assam SC Scholarship
Community: Only SC Community Students are eligible to apply for the Scholarship.
Citizenship: The scholarships are open to Nationals of India only.
State of Domicile: Domicile state means the state in which students have their permanent address. Students are required to provide their domicile state correctly as their applications may be sent for verification to the Authorities belonging to their State of Domicile.
Pre-Matric (Class-IX & X) [Component-I] and Post-Matric Scholarship:
Scholarships will be granted to the SC students whose parental/guardian’s income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakhs per annum. The income certificate should be obtained only from the Circle Officer of respective Revenue Circle.
Pre-Matric (Class I-X) [Component-II] Scholarship:
No income bar for the children of those Engaged in Occupation involving Cleaning and Prone to Health Hazards.

| After registration, Click on Online Application Form and Login. |
| upload your documents as required in the portal. |
| Finally click on “Submit” and take print out of your submitted application. |
